Cole Palmer, their main spark, was kept quiet by Palace’s compact block, barely seeing the ball. With just three shots on target all game, it took stoppage time for Palmer to finally fashion a real chance.

If West Ham's defense holds firm, Chelsea's Blues will need to ditch the sideways passing and go full throttle vertically to crack the Hammers' backline.And more importantly find ways to bring Palmer  more into the game.
